Airsupply:China's three major airlines released their transcripts in July

The report cards of the three major airlines were released in July. China Southern Airlines led the way in terms of cumulative cargo and mail traffic in a single month and that year, and China Eastern Airlines had the largest increase.

In terms of cargo and mail transportation volume, China Southern Airlines ranked first in terms of both a single month and the cumulative total of the year. However, in July, its cargo volume decreased by about 2% year-on-year, and its capacity also decreased by 1.4% year-on-year. In addition, the three major air cargo data all achieved year-on-year growth.

It is worth mentioning that all of China Eastern Airlines' cargo performance this month has improved more than the other two major airlines. The cumulative cargo volume and cargo turnover ratio that year have both increased by more than 50% year-on-year.

 

Air China:

 

Freight: Cargo and mail transportation volume was 98,300 tons, a year-on-year increase of 7.1%. The cumulative cargo and mail transportation volume that year was 698,800 tons, a year-on-year increase of 28.5%; freight capacity increased by 8.2% year-on-year; freight turnover increased by 12.2% year-on-year.

Passenger transport: The number of passengers carried was 7.761 million, a year-on-year increase of 33.0%. The cumulative number of passengers carried for the year was 46.372 million, a year-on-year increase of 50.8%; passenger capacity increased by 34.4% year-on-year; passenger turnover increased by 38.4% year-on-year; passenger load factor was 73.8%, a year-on-year increase 2.1 percentage points.

 

Southern Airline:

 

Freight: Cargo and mail transportation volume was 120,800 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 1.99%. The cumulative cargo and mail transportation volume that year was 860,100 tons, a year-on-year increase of 9.63%; freight capacity decreased by 1.4% year-on-year; freight turnover increased by 2.29% year-on-year.

 

Passenger transport: The number of passengers carried was 11.121 million, a year-on-year increase of 23.96%. The cumulative number of passengers that year was 65.416 million, a year-on-year increase of 62.59%; passenger capacity increased by 25.27% year-on-year; passenger turnover increased by 32.19% year-on-year; passenger load factor was 76.53%, a year-on-year increase 4 percentage points.

Eastern Airlines:

 

Air freight service cargo volume: Cargo and mail carried 72,600 tons, a year-on-year increase of 21.64%. The cumulative cargo and mail load that year was 535,700 tons, a year-on-year increase of 51.61%; freight capacity increased by 20.35% year-on-year; freight turnover increased by 51.1% year-on-year.

 

Passenger transport: The company carried 8,110,200 passenger trips, a year-on-year increase of 21.45%. The cumulative number of passengers carried that year was 53.118 million passengers, a year-on-year increase of 60.80%; passenger capacity increased by 21.65% year-on-year; passenger turnover increased by 24.97% year-on-year; passenger load factor was 74.82%, a year-on-year increase of 1.99 Percentage points.
