DSV launches global air cargo charter service, connecting Zhengzhou, Hong Kong, Chicago and other regions

It is reported that DSV has launched a global Air freight services called Globetrotter, connecting four continents.

DSV has reached agreements with a number of airlines, including Cargolux and Atlas Air, and the new service will connect Zhengzhou, Istanbul, Hong Kong, Viracopos, Chicago and Liege .

Unlike Geodis’s air service using Chicago O’Hare Airport announced last week, DSV will use Chicago Rockford Airport because Chicago O’Hare Airport is facing severe congestion.
According to the introduction of this service on the DSV official website, DSV has two main options for transporting cargo through the charter network: chartering the entire aircraft or arranging part of the charter, and stated that this may happen on a planned and temporary basis.

In addition, DSV also stated that with its huge influence at Luxembourg Findel Airport, it has signed an agreement with Cargolux, the world's largest cargo airline. Similarly, it has signed agreements with Atlas Airlines and some of the largest operators in Asia, the Middle East, Latin America and other regions to ensure that it always provides capacity for customers’ cargo.

"The holiday peak season is approaching. Although we don't expect the fourth quarter's freight volume to be as surprising as last year's fourth quarter, we also expect the core demand level to be comparable to or even higher than the same period last year. Therefore, shippers should expect freight rates. Compared with last year, it is comparable and even higher."
